Looking for something fun to do with your family on a rainy,
or perhaps even sunny Saturday in November? Then come on out to Mount Pisgah Arboretum for our community’s 2nd annual Play in the Rain Day on Saturday, November 7th, from 10am to 3pm.
Sponsored by the Youth in Nature Partnership, a collaborative of local organizations that work closely with youth in the outdoors, Play in the Rain is a free family
event for all ages. The day’s activities will include nature crafts, hikes, hayrides with horses, tree-climbing, scavenger hunts, seed planting, campfire cookery, and more! All activities and parking are FREE!
Discover how fun, easy, and rewarding it is to spend time
outdoors in nature-in ALL kinds of weather. Don’t miss this fun event-last year it was attended by over 1,000 people. Play in the Rain will happen rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

The Youth in Nature Partnership is a collaborative of eight creative and conscientious environmental organizations that work closely with youth and the outdoors in our local community. Its members consist of the Bureau of Land
Management, the City of Eugene, Friends of Buford Park &Mt. Pisgah, Nearby Nature, Northwest Youth Corps, Mount Pisgah Arboretum, the United States Forest Service, and Willamette Resources & Education Network (WREN). From education to service learning to just plain fun - each organization values the wonder of nature and the ways it inspires children.
