Of the Earth-A Clay Workshop

(Beginner and beyond)

Use Nature as a texture for your own clay exploration and
project. Join ceramic artist, Peg Douthit-Jackson as we explore the textures of
the Arboretum through the medium of clay. We will be using clay slabs, coils, and balls to create
hand-built pieces such as wall hangings, tiles and much more. All works will be
fired and we will learn the techniques for cold glazing. Registration is
required. Meet at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum Visitors Center. Fee:
