Our Wildflower and Mushroom Festivals are traditions that have delighted the local community for more than 30 years. Each festival features large educational displays of wildflowers (in spring) or mushrooms (in fall), with experts on hand to answer questions. Great live music gives each event a lively, dynamic feel. A large variety of plants (including many native species), food, arts & crafts, books, t-shirts, and educational materials are available for purchase. Children’s activities and free raffles keep the whole family entertained. Visitors may also take guided tours of the Arboretum to learn about the area’s ecology and history.
Throughout the year, we also offer a variety of walks, workshops, trainings, and celebrations.
